The location of this place is perfect and peaceful, just a short walk away from Rua Direita and the downtown area.

It looks exactly as it did on Internet, which is the reason why we chose this hotel. Very quaint, almost 'hacienda' type, lots of different levels, little corridors, an absolutely gorgeous inside terrace, much bigger than it looks from the outside. Room a little small and dark but cute and very clean. Getting to the hotel is an adventure, driving through tiny narrow windy cobbled steep streets right to the top of the town: a bit hairy when you have to park on such a steep slope in the rain, but it was memorable!

When we booked here we thought the welcome would be more personal, but the 3 different people on the welcome desk were not very communciative (it was the night porter who showed us where to have breakfast the next morning!) Breakfast is in a ridiculously small space.

We had an amazing stay at a charming guesthouse in Óbidos. The staff at Casa De S. Thiago Do Castelo was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location on the main street, inside the city walls, was perfect. The building itself was an old, authentic Portuguese-style structure, and our room and bathroom were spacious and clean. We also loved the charming courtyard where we enjoyed some wine. The breakfast provided was delicious and overall, we had absolutely nothing to complain about.

The hotel is hidden inside the walls of the old city of Obidos. Enjoyed exploring the town after all the tourists left for the day. Felt like a bed and breakfast. Staff was very pleasant.

Had a really good stay for two nights, glad I've chosen it. All the stuffs where really helpful. The location was perfect in old town of Óbidos, close to Obidos Village. Moreover, it was very close to the castle inside the town walls, the taxi and excellent restaurants and shops.

this hotel is quaint and fairly clean, has best staff and ideal location at the top of the hill. the room is nice cozy and unique with stunningly beautiful views of the castle. the breakfast is savory and good, includes pastries, cheese and meats. thank you for a really good stay.

Very friendly and helpfull personel. Speak English. Location more than excelent. Very original both interior and exterior - look like 18th century family house. Strongly recomend this hotel to all travelers!
